Love this game but it crashes or freezes every time I try it. Hope they fix the bugs soon.

Havent had any issues. Great game just like the board game. I really enjoy the 3D aspect of putting down your tiles

I love the board game but the iPhone app needs serious work. It crashes often; you cant switch away from the game (to answer a call, for example) and then come back to it; there are some settings where the game wont work if you select them. It has potential - lots of it! But heres hoping the programmers read reviews and will work to fix the huge number of problems with their app that right now make it a waste of money. I wish I could get my money back.

I like the game, and the computer AIs are decent. But there is some serious deficits. First, theres no undo. If you accidentally drop a piece in the wrong place, it stays. Second, the game doesnt save if you exit the app. Sometimes if I switch apps and come back, my game is still there. But most of the time, I have to start over.

I bought the game with some reservations because of the negative reviews. However, I use buying games on the iPad as a cheap way of seeing if Id like the game enough to buy a physical copy of it. Also, if my friends are busy, it gives me a way to satiate my board game "fix". I say all this as a way for you to understand my rating of the game. So far, it has not crashed on my iPad. Ive tried it on my iPhone 5s, but the images are a bit small to fully enjoy the game. With the new way iMessages are coming in, it hasnt caused a problem with crashes as previously reported. Ive even been able to switch out of the game to another app with no problems. My only two complaints would be the online portion which is very clunky and it could be a bit more intuitive to use. Overall its good if you just want to sit down and enjoy a quick game.

This game would be great if it didnt crash before you could complete a game on single player. For a $5 app it does not live up to the value. Hope it can be fixed soon.

I have always enjoyed this game..for the last few days my games have been frozen. Im not sure what todo about it.

Three family members and I all purchased this app thinking we could play each other via online multiplayer. To date, no one has figured it out and there is NO support. No one to call, no emails to submit, nothing. Anyone know how to do multiplayer with friends? This lack of support stinks. I think together we may have just wasted $20.

You will never be able to finish a game. The game state is never saved and you have no way to continue a game. I feel cheated.

Played the board game a couple times and got hooked, was so happy to see it was on the App Store! The game itself is one of my favorite board games Ive ever played, and Ive played over 100. It is very well balanced between strategy and luck, and is always quite a different game on every play. Hard to get bored of! As for the app, its not nearly as bad as a lot of its reviews claim. I play on my iphone 5. I only remember it crashing once and Ive played this countless times on my train commutes. You can zoom in and out on your Alhambra, all the controls are practical, and the game play and AI feels natural and logical. Only thing Id really like is to be able to listen to my own music while I play, or at least have music playing during the game (I hear music in the menu but then it is silent during gameplay save for sound effects). I would recommend!

I want to love this app, I really do. Unfortunately, every time I try to open it on the iPad it crashes immediately. Please, please, please fix this app.

This app looks and plays great on my wifes iPad, however I purchased it to primarily play on my iPhone and I get to about 1/3 of the way through and it crashes every time. Unfortunately that makes it a poor game for me. Bummer.

The user interface is terrible. I can create a game but my friends dont see the game in their game list so we cant play together. Theres no support for the app either.

Have played four solo games but not finished one. App not ready for prime time. (Later) Have played more sessions, including version 1.1. Still crashes. (Still later) Still crashes.

Love the board game and generally have enjoyed playing the app version on my iPad, but I get a few games going and next time I come to play my turns, none of my games show up! Tired of this happening. Also no known way to report this sort of problem. So aufweidersehn.

I love Alhambra but this app crashes ALL the time. I havent been able to complete a single game without it crashing.

It looks like this game has not been updated in quite some time. It plays well, the game is solid and the AI is very tough. But I am experiencing some bugs that make the game difficult if not impossible to complete: pieces you put on the board, and sometimes the entire board, disappears. Its hard to play if you cant see what youre doing! It would really be great if this developer would make another pass through the game and clean up the last remaining issues. But its been so long since there was an update that it doesnt seem likely.

I love Alhambra the game. It looks good. I like the 3D rendering of the buildings, the game plays intuitively enough, but I cant finish a game because at some point in every game, it stops letting me move the screen to put down a building I just bought. It renders the game unplayable at some point. Note that Im playing on iPad 2. 2 stars because I like the board game...would have given a 4.
